Welcome to Essem Group's HSE Standards!
Our HSE Management System within Essem Group are the foundation of our beliefs and the basis of our entire decision making process. Our expectation is clear and simple. Wherever we work, we operate with integrity, making sure our people, stakeholders and communities are safe and secure, injury free and have the most minimal impact on the environment.
OUR HSE STRATEGY IS DESIGNED TO HELP US ON OUR JOURNEY TOWARDS HSE EXCELLENCE.
We strive for success, through understanding and managing our risks efficiently, continue to inspire people via great leadership that "Walk The Walk" with our teams across regions and the systematic implementation of an effective HSE system, standards and practices.
THE ESSEM GROUP HSE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Our HSE MS standard and supporting guidance and tools, provides a framework on how we must lead, plan and organise ourselves as a business to ensure HSE-related risks are controlled and to always loop up for continuous improvement in our HSE performance.
HSE SYSTEMS, STANDARDS AND PRACTICES CAN BE CONTINUOUSLY UPHOLD BY:
Providing structure and consistency in the way we manage HSE
Focusing our attention on risk management, ensuring compliance and undertaking assurance activities
Supporting the development of positive HSE and learning culture which in turns support the management system
Providing a framework for continuous improvement
ESSEM GROUP LIFE SAVING RULES
Our "OWN SAFETY" slogan is at the heart of our business because it defines who we are, how we work, what we believe in and what we stand for. It also set out how we act and how we expect to be treated as part of Essem Group and provide a sound basis in making our decisions.
To successfully implement this initiative, is the introduction of our own Life Saving Rules (LSR), aiming at encouraging positive behaviors amongst staff that will help further improve our safety culture and performances, and to avoid negative behaviors that undermine our efforts.

Safety is what we care about most and being safe means caring for ourselves and showing care for our colleagues.
We have our common shared goal : to keep safety at the heart of every conversation we have.
Let's collectively have the courage to care and intervene.

BE SAFE EVERYONE!
